My insight into a Crystal Reports white space issue.
My report used several subreports and they were formatted so that I reduced the white space as much as possible, however when the report was run and the report was several pages in length I had more white space than I needed.

The value that I need to change and it was not obvious to me (see image below for subreport properties). Once these properties were set my report used much less white space between the subreports and my end users were happy.
